Bible Thumper Gone Wild

This bitch (Shirley Phelps-Roper that is, not the owner of the blog) is crazy! She also serves to completely justify every bit of ill-will I feel toward organized religion. Listen to her, she thinks she makes perfect sense, truly believes that her thoughts are rational.

  1. Well, for the second time in five minutes, you've made me say "Holy CRAP!" Wow, there are some nutty people in this world, aren't there?

Is this the same lady who posted the rules to being a good housewife?

  3. That whole freaking family must be genetically challenged. When Matthew Shepherd was beaten to death, they showed up at his funeral and screamed "God Hates Fags" among a few other lovely comments. They also protested at funerals for AIDS victims. Now they are picketing the funerals of our Vets because "we are a fag nation and God is punishing us by killing our soldiers" or something to that effect.

You know, for once I fully and loudly support their right to scream vitriole and violence. It only shows them for the hateful little pitiable homophobes that they have been made to be by their homophobic Daddy, Fred Phelps. If more people hear this crap, they will perhaps realise that God is not on that side of the line and would never let Himself be.

  5. They're all definitely NUTS. They need some sort of therapy... If they think the worst thing going on in this country to "erode the morals" or "invoke God's wrath" then I guess either murder, drug abuse, child abuse, lying, infidelity, political corruption, and thievery are all OK, or somehow in their minds caused by homosexuality? Fucking nuts, and they're going to eventually piss the wrong person off. What I wouldn't do to see their rotten little faces when they realize hatred doesn't get anyone into Heaven.

  6. I think even their God would agree there's got to be some more positive way of harnessing that faith (if it qualifies as such.) I had this image of God sitting down with them and saying, "You know, I understand that you love me and everything, but I'd rather see you volunteering to feed the homeless."
