awwww
Miss V had such a good idea that I took it! I made this for our family Christmas card and sent it out. In case you weren't in my address book, this copy's for you! Click it for the full sized view.
Erin! That is so sweet that I need an insulin shot! :-D
Seriously though, I'm thrilled that you're able to spend the holidays at home with your adorable new son AND the rest of your family. I know you're pinching yourself every morning to make sure you're not dreaming!
Oh Ginger, for now, he's wonderful. You'd never know there was anything wrong with him just to look at him. We'll wait for 3 months, with frequent checkups with the cardiologists and his pediatrician to keep an eye on his oxygenation levels - and unless he outgrows his collateral blood flow supply, he'll have the surgery in March.
Until then, he'll most likely continue to be absolutely healthy and wonderful, which makes it entirely too easy to curl up in a state of denial about going back to the hospital. I just, I dunno, pretend he won't have to.
Hey, Sweetie!! I got the card. Adorable!! Did you get the card I sent you? I hope so. Your box of goodies is going to be a little late. It's all packed up, but I haven't quite made it out to the post office. *hug* Thinking of you always. A blessed and happy new year to you all!!
AWWWWW pretty much sums it up! Merry Christmas, Nova-Babe!
