I don't know

Ah Christ.

Sometimes there's too much inside - too much to fit, so you try to open the valve and it bottlenecks trying to get out, and then, well, it gets stuck, no transfer, no osmosis, no equalization of pressure.
You know, sympathy is one thing. One thing that's altogether more bearable than empathy.

The Finch (aka:2am over Coffee)

There's a finch in the shadow of the mountain.

She says there are no words tonight.
My chest aches with the knowing that
she's irreparably right. There is only bent silence
and snow-painted footprints that begin to fade
in the light of guilt and too-damn-cheery
blossoms of a meaningless garden.

And there are tears, but I don't know whose they are.

How is it that even in sadness you mix words together that are so beautiful? Or is it the sadness itself that lends the beauty to them?

  2. Hi you. If these words are beautiful, it's because they're, at least for the most part, for someone else's sadness tonight.

    How's the trip going?

We're back, finally. All the obligations are over. Next trip in August is a real vacation! Just sand, sun, water and nothing to do, nowhere to go, just time to enjoy.
    I GOT MY BOOK! YAY!

  4. Actually, it is rather wonderful, but I question ending the line on "that." Good to know it is someone else this time though. This almost fits pic of the week at MTC...
