I took these pictures with the POS digital last night. It was almost completely dark out. Something in the camera that has to do with the amount of light that gets in (the shutter? the light sensor? I dunno) is screwed up, and the flash doesn't work. These are the first pictures I've been able to take outside since April. Now I know the secret, take outdoor pictures in the dark! Otherwise it's just a big white square.
And yeah, I like my lil fat buddha too. green patina and all.
I love your fat, jolly buddha. Weeds can be cool -- two years ago I let the thistles go just to see how tall they would get (plus, despite their thorns, I think thistles are cool-looking). They reached five and a half feet! This year I'm letting the chipmonk-planted sunflowers grow right in the middle of the daisies and coreopsis. I love weeds. I love all the variation in your foliage colors & textures. I enlarged the bottom picture to see if I could identify the gray-green plant. No luck -- what is it?
haha Ang~ Sounds like some new fangled superhero! duntadaDAH!
Zilla~ Your Buddha is so much more peaceful and graceful! But I like my fat Buddha too, he reminds me of Nova. We called him out Buddha baby cuz he was so fat. Even Erin2 commented on that and emailed me a pic. I blogged about it, I'll see if I can find it.
it's beautiful, E! Love the little buddha statue.
