Furor in Italy over "gay nativity" in parliament

ROME (Reuters) - Two leftists in Italy's ruling coalition on Wednesday outraged fellow lawmakers by placing four dolls representing homosexual couples near the baby Jesus in the official nativity scene in parliament...

Such things will soon be happening here in the good old US of A. Until we have more conservatives in federal and state governments, the threat of this kind of nonsense will exist here.
ReplyDeleteWe need more political leader in NC, for example, like State Senator Fred Smith. A common sense Republican.
Um... I wouldn't vote republican if you paid me, I am so far from conservative that I laugh at the idea. It isn't that I object to homosexuals by any means - I'm very adamant in my fight FOR gay rights actually... I'm just saying that this was so blatantly disrespectful that it can only work AGAINST gay rights and was therefore a mistake indeed.
