Ange (Writer Mom) has set the goal of recruiting fifty Team All Heart members this year. I've got 6, possibly 7, including myself, heading to the Indianapolis Heart Walk to support her. I've got Myrt recruiting Freud's side of the family for participation as well. Freud's dad had open heart surgery (he's got the widow-maker, unfortunately) last year, so participation should be high.
Just letting you know in case you haven't visited the Midwest contingent recently, that your's is more than just another team. It's a team that 1) inspired out of state contributions and 2) inspired the forming of a new team in the Midwest the next year -- a team with a leader who's making sure her team grows.
We'll get an Indy Heart Walk under our belts and see about forming a Michigan group next year.
I've been thinking of you. Just got an email today from a friend who's bringing her in-laws to the Indy Heart Walk, and the mom of a friend of mine who died in a tragic accident. She thinks his heart caused him to blackout at the wheel, which would explain his wreck. All this has gotten me very emotional about our team, and I want to thank you for your strength and inspirational spirit.
Also, I'm going to try and raise more money by selling flowers through springhill.com. It's been difficult raising money. Hard times for all right now, but I won't give up.
