Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force. The friends who listen to us are the ones we move toward. When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.Have I thanked you all lately? I know I'm an emotional wreck, and sometimes when I get done posting, I wonder if any of it even makes any sense or if it came out reading the same way it sounded in my head: like a long stream of thoughts all jumbled together tumbling out without control or finesse or cohesion or even coherence. Babble - all very necessary babble. God bless yas for wading through it daily.

Just the act of listening means more than you can imagine to most people.

*BIG HUG* you're welcome. That's what we're here for.
ReplyDeleteErin, you should never have to thank a friend for being there through tough times. I mean, isn't that just what friends do? And BTW, I don't think I could sleep very well at night if I didn't get my Nova update.
ReplyDeleteHeh, he's going to be 19 years old and off at college, and I'll still be logging in to read how he's doing. :)
But Ang, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't thank you?
ReplyDelete*hug* I love you both!
With real friends, the recognition of need and the answer of the call goes without saying. Much love to you, the fam, and Nova.

I am still floored most days though, by the depth of friendships that are born online.
I just hhope that I never forget or start to take any of you for granted.
